Swim Meet #1 - Please Read
High School Rams,
It's here, our first swim meet of the 2024-2025 season! Please make sure to read this entire email as it has important information regarding how to RSVP, how to sign up for volunteer spots, and meet day expectations.
First, I would like to thank all our parents and swimmers who attended the training over the last two weekends. Swimming relies on parent support; we have shown up great this season!
Team Sponsorship Opportunity:
Many of you expressed interest in either having your business or know someone who owns a business that would like to sponsor Grayson High School Swim & Dive. The deadline for this is 10/31! Please find the form linked below:

Swimmer Contact Info:
We need to be able to email our swimmers from time to time, so if everyone could please fill out this form so we can have swimmers' direct emails (can be school or personal) and cell phones, we would appreciate it!

Time Trials:
We will have time trials at practice this week on Wednesday. We will need help from a few parents to help time, so please consider helping us if you regularly attend practice.
RSVP and Volunteer Sign-Up:
How to RSVP and Sign up to volunteer - please use this walkthrough if you need assistance on the meet RSVP
We need everyone RSVP and all volunteer spots signed up for by Tuesday each week. This is necessary to ensure that coaches have enough time to set up the meet and send it off to the county by their deadlines.
This means that RSVP this week is due by Tuesday, 10/22
We have simplified the process for you this year so all you have to do is indicate if swimmers are attending or not and then sign up for volunteer slots. Our coaches will speak with each swimmer and build the swim meet from there
Reminder: Each swimmer can swim 2 individual events and up to 3 relays, but 4 events total. Diving counts as an individual event.
Meet Day Procedure & Itinerary:
**Please do not leave the swim meet before checking in with Coach Stewart, Jenna, or Zach. We sometimes need substitutes for relays and rely on knowing you are there.**
We have a team bus available for those who need a ride there. Swimmers are also welcome to drive themselves to the pool
Pool Address: 1063 Rockbridge Rd SW, Stone Mountain, GA 30087
Meet Date: Saturday, 10/26
Opponent: Discovery High School
Volunteers: All volunteers will need to check in with Mary Beth Durham (I will station her near me on the pool deck so you can easily find her and be able to recognize her moving forward)
